A thank you goes out to our friend “Zetmon” for letting us know about Terminals. I tried it and was impressed by the initial experience. I’ll be testing it more with my daily work and see how it performs. Meanwhile you can test it for yourself and see what you think…
According to the developer’s site, http://www.codeplex.com/Terminals , Terminals is:
“Terminals is a secure, multi tab terminal services/remote desktop client. It uses Terminal Services ActiveX Client (mstscax.dll). The project started from the need of controlling multiple connections simultaneously. It is a complete replacement for the mstsc.exe (Terminal Services) client.”
The client supports the following protocols: RDP, VNC, VMRC, RAS, Telnet, SSH, ICA Citrix and Amazon S3.
