We want to welcome everyone to our new site. We know there are tons of blogs and forums out there with product reviews but we decided to open this blog to filter out all the stuff that is not practical. The goal is to keep the site very practical and review/recommend products that are useful. Useful is a relative term so not everyone will agree 100% with our assessment of some products but we can only try 
. We want the user to feel that the reviews and recommendations made here are of value so we’ll present real world use scenario’s for as many products as possible.
We will be reviewing the following on this blog:
- Software and hardware related to the desktop and server platforms (Windows (all editions), Linux, Apple, etc.)
- Software and hardware related to the mobile platforms (phones/PDA’s, accessories, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, iPhone, Palm, etc.)
- Other electronics (i.e., Slingbox, DVR’s, LED TV’s, etc.)
YouWantThat.com is maintained by technical enthusiasts, not writers. I bring this up to ask our audience to forgive us if we have typo’s, lack the perfect grammar, etc. We do know our tech though and I think that’s the primary reason you’re reading our blog. That said, we welcome feedback and/or suggestions. We love constructive criticism.
